If you find such a findagrave.com posting on one of your ancestors it is vital that you forward any additional or correct information on to the creator or manager of the memorial. The above creator is someone related to Harold Hamilton Straw's third wife. It was a serendipity moment when I returned to the listing of Colette Harrison and found she made the changes. Her listing has pictures of the marker, the funeral notice and the cemetery sign. Thank you to both Colette and Daphane for creating these memorials for my great grandfather.

What if I suggest a correction and the contributor doesn't respond?
Have patience. Many contributors receive hundreds of corrections every month and it may take a while for your correction to be processed. Also, not every Find A Grave contributor is active on a daily basis on the site. If you have suggested a correction and waited longer than thirty days for it to be processed or if you have found a contributor who you believe to be permanently inactive, please send the correction to edit@findagrave.com and we will edit the memorial on their behalf.
